Project is situated in the Chuansha Chunxin New Unit of Pudong New Area. The design fully leverages the exceptional location along the transportation corridor connecting Pudong Airport and Disneyland, blending urban vitality with the tranquility of water towns to create an innovative village model. Guided by the core philosophy of “Smart intervention,” Chunxin Village adheres to five key principles: site uniqueness, environmental symbiosis, human-centric approach, phased growth, and public transport connectivity. This approach fosters harmonious coexistence between villagers and visitors, offering citizens a transitional experience between the city and nature. Additionally, the team has designed the “Chunxin Elastic Cabin” along the Qizao River, which operates with energy off-grid to achieve zero-carbon operation, exemplifying sustainable rural living that maximizes value through minimal development.
