SHUNDE MIXC

The Foshan Shunde MIXC is located on the eastern side of the core urban area of Daliang. Through multi-dimensional analysis and research, the landscape design reinterprets and connects different plots within the district. From the urban scale to the plot level, it addresses diverse needs from various perspectives, achieving seamless connectivity between the city and the district, as well as between different plots. The design fosters a new type of mixed-use, all-day urban living scenario that integrates commercial, park, cultural and sports, and residential functions. The large-scale commercial building monolith, combined with small-scale street-facing architectural clusters and a water system linking the east and west park plots, creates a unique spatial fabric. While presenting certain design challenges, this distinctive texture also provides favorable conditions for diverse spatial expressions.
