ANDAZ PATTAYA JOMTIEN BEACH

Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach, the first Andaz resort in Thailand under Hyatt, is located on the tranquil beach in southern Pattaya. The masterplan is shaped by ecological preservation and cultural continuity, retaining over 270 mature trees many planted since the 1960s alongside Thai vernacular houses that define the site’s identity. A sequence of shaded pathways and spatial nodes guides guests from arrival to the beachfront, each shaped by existing trees, local materials, and subtle references to Thai architecture. Buildings are carefully positioned around preserved trees, integrating wooden terraces and open transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces. Native planting and simple water systems support long-term resilience while maintaining a soft, natural setting. The result is a refined resort environment where the landscape is the amenity, where six decades of living trees, landscape sequences, and an unbroken connection to site define what luxury feels like here.
