Using light as a medium, this project bridges the ancient charm and modern glory of Suzhou. Located in the heart of this historic city, lighting blends traditional Chinese garden aesthetics with modern retail, fostering a poetic nighttime coexistence between the commercial mall and boutique retail streets . The mall’s elevation features minimalist, elegant lighting, establishing a sophisticated metropolitan presence; the high street exudes a tranquil, artistic vibe, while the inner alleys glow with a warm vitality. Gentle and soothing light shapes daily ambience, changing vistas with every step； dynamic illuminance revitalizes festival moments, crafting immersive atmosphere. Maintaining human-scale tranquility while using light to activate street vitality, the design lights up urban renewal when preserves Jiangnan’s gentle cultural heritage, creating a walkable, immersive and resonant nightlife landmark.
