WANHUA LUXELAKES C25 YUTAN (DEMONSTRATION AREA)

Located at the core of Luxelakes’ model island along the shoreline, the project takes “rainforest retreat” as its design proposition. Harnessing the lakeside setting, it crafts an immersive exploratory realm concealed within a rainforest. Multi-layered tropical plantings—Strelitzia nicolai, Alocasia, Monstera—recreate the vertical ecology of a primeval forest. Hardscape details are refined with humble stone and timber, while soft furnishings echo natural hues and seed-like forms. Dappled light, tranquil pools, and artful furnishings interweave, reconnecting people and nature on an urban island and rendering a serene yet vibrant resort aesthetic.
