SHENZHEN VANKE NATURE EXPLORATION MUSEUM

Vanke Wanzhi Tiandi is one of the most closely watched TOD projects in China for 2024–2025, led by Vanke with investment participation from Singapore’s GIC. We creatively designed a natural space integrated into the middle of the mall, leveraging Shenzhen’s floorarea bonus policy to maximize benefits for the government, developers, and citizens. The vertical landscaped park blurs the boundaries between commercial and public space, integrating surrounding commercial and lifestyle facilities so that people can enjoy parklike public environments while commuting and shopping. The space brings together educational, familyfriendly play, rooftop sports, and exhibition lecture functions, and assisted international public artist Florentijn Hofman in creating a largescale artwork. Since opening, it has become one of the busiest malls in northern Shenzhen.
