The charm of Suzhou gardens lies not in formal replication, but in the emotional transition from outward to inward that unfolds between person and space. With “Confucian Outside, Daoist Within” as its design framework, this project integrates Eastern ritual order with a modern lifestyle, constructing a spatial journey that moves from ceremonial entry, through wandering exploration, to spiritual freedom.
Through themed floral tables, the reinterpretation of intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship, artistic furnishings, and the creation of modern Eastern living scenes, the soft-furnishing design further reinforces the architectural cultural DNA, shifting the space from visual display to emotional experience. The project aspires to create not merely an exhibition space, but an expression of a lifestyle that belongs to contemporary Jiangnan.
