NANJING ZHONGHAI JIANGNAN JIUXU
The inspiration for the lighting design comes from the bricks of the Six Dynasties period in Nanjing, with the design concept of stone city and Ming city wall. At night, it presents the harmonious expression of Jinling elements with architecture and space. The precise control of the angle of the illuminated surface and the receiving space in architectural lighting tells the story of the “Jinling accent” that spans thousands of years, brick by brick and tile by tile. The theme of the sunken courtyard is to hover “phoenix” landing in Nanjing and perch beside wutong trees. The light endows the night phoenix with a soul, and the level changes of the light are like breathing life, but it also implies a beautiful desire for prosperity and flourishing.
