INTELLIGENT MANUFACTURING LONGCHENG LABORATORY

The Changzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Longcheng Laboratory Project is located in the Intelligent Digital Industrial Park of Science and Education Town, Wujin District. It involves renovating and expanding the old 5# General Assembly Workshop in the park into a scientific research laboratory building integrating R&D, testing, identification, arbitration, diagnosis and optimization functions.
In design, the original steel structure space on the north side of the old factory is preserved, while the two-span steel structure on the south side is demolished. A new three-story reinforced concrete frame structure is built to house office and experimental functions. A landscape courtyard separates the new and old buildings, with internal circulation routes connecting all zones. The facade design, concise and spacious yet solemn and precise, interprets the “Window to the Future” concept.
