URBAN XANADU, located in Yanghang, Shanghai, redefines living spaces by harmonizing humanity, nature, and culture. Inspired by Yanghang’s handicraft heritage, it embeds cultural motifs into architectural textures and interiors, fusing tradition with modernity. The project pioneers park-residence integration, with 23,000㎡ of greenery seamlessly extending living spaces. Meandering tree-lined pathways transform homecomings into immersive garden journeys. Beyond housing, it envisions future habitats through cultural and spatial innovation: bioclimatic landscapes and craft-infused architecture create a sustainable, culturally rooted ecosystem. By challenging conventional boundaries, URBAN XANADU establishes a prototype for tomorrow’s urban living—where heritage and progress coexist, and nature becomes an intrinsic extension of daily life.
