POLY THE SENSE OF EASE

The project is located in Haitang Bay, Sanya—one of China’s top-tier tourist resort areas—nestled between mountains to the west and the sea to the east. A central design question underpins the entire project: “What kind of product truly allows owners to return to the essence of vacation?” Covering a land area of 57,885 square meters, with a plot ratio of just 1.4 and a height limit of 60 meters, the design intentionally abandons the typical mix of villas and high-rises. Instead, it features exclusively high-rise buildings, resulting in a building density of less than 10%. By opening up the ground level and incorporating fully sheltered walkways along with a 3,000-square-meter premium clubhouse, the design emphasizes comfort in shared spaces—creating the core of the vacation ambiance. Drawing inspiration from the aesthetic lines of oceanic fluidity, the architecture expresses a sense of softness and relaxation.
