Greenland Shenyang Primus Hotel

The site is located in north east of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province China with a total land area of over 3,000 Mu. Embraced by Chessboard Hill and Hui Hill, the development enjoys the very best of Liaoning province’s natural beauty.

The client has the ambitious development program that includes a hotel, conference center, recreational facilities for large state functions. The design needs to provide privacy and security needed for a state facility while catering for potential large numbers of conference goers and hotel guests. The design shall also integrate the architecture onto the site and create an exclusive retreat.

The overall logic behind the landscape master plan is inspired and created from nature, more specifically the majestic granite mountain and fertile river valleys. The landscape draws on the rich traditions of Chinese traditional landscape values and blendes these with today’s contemporary design thinking to meet the needs of best practice facilities for state functions, world class hotel and convention centre, recreational and commercial facilities and high end residential living.  These come together as a uniquely versioned masterpiece capturing the essence of local sense of place.
