ORIGINAL TONE OF SANYA POLY (DEMONSTRATION AREA)

ORIGINAL TONE of Sanya Poly is located in Sanya, Hainan Province, China. In response to the site’s attributes—such as ecological conservation, coastal characteristics, and cultural heritage—as well as its current challenges, the design proposes the concept of “Leaving the City, Returning to the Courtyard.” Through the use of rustic architectural textures and natural spatial forms, the design not only expresses a social consciousness of harmony between humans and nature but also awakens a yearning for a humble, tranquil, and poetic world. It redefines the refined atmosphere of the community, preserving a secluded piece of nature and crafting an elegant retreat.
