THE BUND CITY HALL PLAZA

The Bund city hall is a heritage-protected building that has passed through a century of history. After restoration and renovation, a new office building was constructed to enclose the entire block according to the historical design intent, creating a courtyard space open to the public. The courtyard contains a red brick villa and another new building for events and performances. The lighting designers have created a story of the past and present of the old city building through the focus and guidance of light.
