CRL MIXC QIANHAI, SHENZHEN, CHINA

The China Resources Qianhai Center project is located in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Services Cooperation Zone, and the development unit 2 02 neighborhood in the southern core of the Guiwan Business Center District. This 90,000m2 retail-led scheme will create a central hub for the new finance district of Shenzhen’s Qianhai area. The concept of creating a 24-hour active city influenced the architectural planning and building form promoting seamless connectivity and walkability throughout the site. The mixed-use development consists of a 4-storey retail podium which connects the five towers on the site – three commercial office buildings, a 5-Star international hotel and serviced apartment residences. The key features for the site, the ‘Financial Valley’ and the ‘Green Belt’, intersect to create a celebratory focal point – a large, vertically and horizontally connected, outdoor event space.
