GEMDALE MATRIX CENTER

Gemdale Beijing Jinzhan project is located to the east of Beijing City. Working closely with the client, the team carries out various design iterations searching for the right solution. The resulting site layout is the careful balance between brief requirement and the design intent for place making. The six office buildings enclose a central plaza space which opens on one side connecting the natural green park to the east. A sunken plaza is inserted at the center to bring people into basement area for retail and amenity use. The façade design also reflects the desire to create an iconic landmark for this new district of development in Beijing.
